BroadHop's experience management team brings a diverse background in wireless and network infrastructure; e-commerce; broadband media; telecom and software systems. The BroadHop Team shares the common experience of having delivered carrier-class, mission critical systems in conjunction with companies such as Motorola, Nokia, Symbian, Ericsson, AT&T, Sprint, MSN, Mannesman, Bell South, Global Crossing, Hughes Satellite Systems and Qwest. The team has more than 60 years combined experience to support the service management requirements of its partners and customers.


W. William Diotte
Chief Executive Officer

An experienced executive in the Communications and Internet Services industry, with over 19 years of business experience, he has focused on providing innovative technology and approaches to communications solutions, with customers including: Motorola, AT&T, Dow Jones, EDS, Hughes Electronics, NTT and LG.

Diotte has held Senior Executive positions in the Network and Professional Services industry with CAT Technology, SRI Consulting and Gemini; leading Network Services as well as Telecom & Internet Solutions businesses with service delivery and P&L responsibility.

Most recently, he was President and Chief Operating Officer at Amigo Systems, Inc., an IP based electronic payments services company. At Amigo, Mr. Diotte oversaw the development and deployment of an innovative IP payments services platform utilizing a high speed and highly secure IP-WAN architecture. Amigo was acquired by a major credit card payments processing company.

An innovative thinker and speaker in the Communications and Internet Services arena, Mr. Diotte holds a degree in engineering from Queen’s University, a Masters in Business Administration from the Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario, and is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics’ International Business Program.

Kishen Mangat
Vice-President, Solutions

As BroadHop’s Vice-President, Solutions, Kishen Mangat is responsible for working with customers and partners to implement BroadHop’s technology worldwide.

Prior to BroadHop, Kishen was President and Managing Director of Application Media, a professional services firm that pioneered software solutions for public broadband and wireless access. In this role, he oversaw the development and implementation of broadband service provisioning solutions with the Walt Disney Company; Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide; Smart City Telecom; Sprint Corporation; Cisco Systems and Microsoft Corporation.

Prior to Application Media, Kishen was co-founder of STS HotelNet, the broadband portal solution in more than 150,000 hotel rooms, which was acquired in 2001 by CAIS Internet. As Vice-President of Marketing with STS HotelNet, he oversaw marketing and sales and was a frequent speaker and broadband expert in the hospitality industry.

As Director of International Development with WebMessenger, Inc., a leading provider of Internet telephony services, he implemented a global Internet faxing platform through channel partnerships with international ISPs in Africa, APAC and Latin America.

Kishen is a distinguished alumnus of Colorado College’s Economics and Business department, where he graduated with honors in 1996.

Ian Campbell
Lead Architect

Mr. Campbell is BroadHop’s CTO and Chief Architect. He is responsible for leading the development of BroadHop’s platforms and strategically managing the product development life cycle. He has more than ten years of experience architecting and developing highly scalable, telco-grade software systems.

As Senior Architect at Certes Solutions, Campbell developed object oriented solutions for leading companies such as BellSouth, Accor, EDS, Sabre and American Airlines.

Prior to this period, he spent four years with American Management Systems in Dusseldorf, Germany implementing Tapestry, a leading customer care and billing system, for Mannesmann Arcor.

He is well-versed in numerous object-oriented architectures, programming, web and application languages and has extensive experience architecting back-end billing and commerce applications.

Campbell received a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Colorado College in 1996. He is a Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform.

Gilles Allain
Vice-President, Global Sales

Gilles Allain has been in charge of BroadHop’s global sales since early 2009. He joined BroadHop in 2007 to lead business and operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region where BroadHop has been selected by large service providers and increased its revenues by 500% from mid 2007 till end 2008.

A wireless and telecommunication executive with 20 years experience, Gilles has broad international exposure in networks, embedded software and mobile phones. He has held senior engineering, product marketing, business development and sales positions with Ericsson, Nokia Networks, Symbian and Cellon. In 1996 at Nokia Networks he made a breakthrough with the France Telecom/Orange global account which, under his leadership, became Nokia’s largest account worldwide by 2001. At Symbian he drove the initial smartphone penetration with world leading handset vendors and built the Symbian ecosystem, a group of 200 leading wireless companies. Most recently, he was General Manager, EMEA at Cellon, a Chinese ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and design house.

Gilles holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the French INSA, an MBA from the Paris-Pantheon-Sorbonne University and is an alumnus from the IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland). He also served as Board Director of the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) from its creation until 2004.

Alfred Kahn IV

Chip Kahn is founder and CEO of IP Commerce, an IP-enabled payment software company. A high-tech entrepreneur throughout his career, Chip has a strong track record of identifying business opportunities and developing innovative strategies to address market needs. Prior to IP Commerce, Kahn founded and developed Amigo Systems, Inc., a payment services provider; Application Media, a broadband media and commerce consultancy; and STS Hotel Net, an integrated media supplier. He is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and was recognized as one of Colorado’s up-and-coming business leaders in 2002 with the “40 under 40” Award, and more recently as semi-finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. Kahn holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

David Johnson

David S. Johnson is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of IP Commerce, an IP-enabled payment software company. Johnson has served as CTO for a number of emerging technology corporations, including Amigo Systems and STS Hotel Net. Johnson also co-founded New Media Designs (NMD), a company specializing in the development of database integrated Internet applications, BroadHop, a broadband services software company, and Application Media, a strategy leadership and solution developer for marquee global brands engaged in delivering broadband e-commerce and mobility services.

Brad Gray

Brad Gray is an executive with more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry. He is currently Principal of McAleer Gray, a boutique executive search firm. Prior to this he was a principal with Korn Ferry International where he led executive placement in the telecommunications and software sectors. Prior to Korn Ferry, Gray was a Principal and co-founder of Wayport, Inc., one of the world’s largest providers of mobile broadband communication solutions. Previous to Wayport, Gray held executive roles McCaw Cellular, USA Mobile Communications and PageNet. He also served as CEO for Itatel Communications in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gray earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Arkansas.

Greg Post

Greg Post is Regional Vice President of Leap Wireless best known for its operating subsidiary, Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of unlimited local and domestic long distance wireless services. Previous to Leap, Post was with Infospace, Inc., where he served as vice president of worldwide sales. Before Infospace, Post held posts in business development, marketing and sales at Nextel Communications, Inc. Post holds a degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas and completed the Advanced Management College program at Stanford.
